Dear Members and Friends of Tates Creek Presbyterian Church,

The Lord has made Tates Creek to be a very diverse church family in ages, backgrounds, talents, training, interests, and abilities. As He continues to bless and grow us spiritually and physically, that diversity is increasing. I am thankful that God brought you here to be involved in this ever expanding ministry.

Recently, in a desire to better know our congregation’s human resources, the Mission’s Committee has proposed a survey to help discover the unique gifts and talents of our people. Many times a certain need is posed to our leaders, such as “Do we have someone who speaks this language?” or “Do we know someone who is an expert in this field?” Although the Foundations class has helped us start a database of this type of information, we want to enlarge the pool of participants to include everyone.

We would like to have this survey completed by November 2nd. The form should take no more than eight minutes to complete. Before you begin you may want to pray and think about the gifts, training, and interests God has given you. It is easy for us to minimize and pass over the ways that God has blessed us as individuals. We want to involve every member of our church body in ministering to each other and the world around us.  Rest assured, by showing interest or aptitude in any specific area, you are not committing yourself to any particular service. The staff and church leaders will have access to this database, but it will not be published.
