The Worldview of the World Maker

WHAT IS A WORLD VIEW? It is the framework of ideas and beliefs through which you interpret and interact with everything. You have one, you live according to it, and you inevitably share it with others. This also means that everyone else has one and is sharing it with you. Your parents raise you according to their world view, your teachers teach you according to their world view, Hollywood entertains you according to its worldview, authors write according to their world view, your siblings, friends, neighbors, yes even your youth pastor, all have world views and are influencing you according to them. And so you may wonder, who in the world has a right view of the world? Good question. I propose we ask the Creator of all things how He views all things. In Jesus' famous Sermon on the Mount we are given a divine world view. It is a powerful perspective that is sure to leave you changed.
