The tradition of this congregation like most in the PCA has been for the deacons to take a special offering once each month.  These gifts go directly to relieve any hardships TCPC members may be going through.  Assistance may also be provided to those outside our church family who are touched by the ministries of Tates Creek.

We consider it a privilege and a joy to help because our Triune God graciously helps us in all matters.  Furthermore, the help that we give is in the name of Jesus Christ.  We seek to help the whole person which means that we wish to help people with their spiritual needs in addition to their physical and material needs.  Part of this calling is to pray with and pray for those who require assistance.
