The purpose of the Websites Committee is to improve and promote a TCPC web presence that is professional, feature rich, easy for webmasters and viewers to use, under the oversight of this committee and effective in dispensing and collecting web based information in a way that is honoring to God.

Motion: that the members of this committee be Jim Griffioen, Karen Sisk, Nate Jaeger, Mickey Moore and Will Weatherford. At the October meeting of this committee it was suggested that Will Weatherford be the chair. Since that time I have filled this role and I am willing to continue doing so.

The TCPC session hereby gives the Website Committee the responsibility and the authority to:

1) give all of TCPC websites one look and feel under one URL
2) upgrade the website design software to greatly enhance the web capabilities available to the church
3) implement a hierarchy of authority that will enable and control the content of the entire website with the committee or its appointed “Czar(s)” being the overall Administrator and individual ministries have significant but not total control of their web page content.

To accomplish this the committee is granted the authority to require all church websites to adhere to the above goals by an appropriate date between June and December of 2008....
