4 and 5 year old – He Has Spoken by His Son

This is a chronological study through the New Testament which unfolds the wonder and power of Jesus Christ.  This curriculum acquaints children with a great God who has spoken by His Son.

 

Kindergarten -Growing in God

This is a study of the Ten Commandments and God's relationship with Moses.  In looking at the first 5 commandments, the children will learn why they were given to us and how they point us to Jesus Christ.  The children will study the last 5 commandments to learn about relationships with others, and how this grows out of our love for God.

 

 

1^st Grade through 5^th grade (completed) plus parents and adults  Inter-generational Sunday School Class

 

The Way of the Wise

The Way of the Wise contrasts the foolish person and the wise person.  The foolish person loves what is wrong and acts on that love; the wise person loves what is right and acts on that love.  The way of the foolish ends in destruction, but the way of the wise lead to life.

 

This is not a curriculum merely about behavior, but one about the heart.  Since “folly is bound up in the heart” (Proverbs 22:15) we cannot change our attitudes and heart affections without Jesus.  Jesus is the only bridge from the way of the foolish to the way of the wise.

 

This curriculum encourages children to pursue wisdom and to shun folly.  The book of Proverbs is highlighted as a great source of instruction in wisdom and the children are encouraged to read with their families from the book of Proverbs.

This is a fun class, any adult is invited to attend!

M&M kids and Children's Choir  Summer fun!

This summer during the Sunday Evening Bible Study Series, our covenant children will have the opportunity to sing and to serve the church with a lemonade stand.  Guests from mission projects will also be invited to share with the kids about their experiences.

Wisdom Calls Aloud

For Children 4 years through 5^th grade (completed)

Every day children are faced with the calls of wisdom and foolishness.  Only a heart changed by God will incline children toward wisdom and give them the strength to reject foolishness.  When they are confronted with the greatness and goodness of God and stand in awe of Him, and are led to the Source of Wisdom through Jesus Christ, then they will treasure wisdom and walk in its ways. 

 

Our VBS is a special time to glorify in a God who will redeem all things to Himself, and we encourage that through participation in activities in one of the following areas:  Art, Ballet, Outdoor Adventure, and Soccer.

 

This is a great time of fellowship with the covenant family and a great outreach to our community!
